Crinions Furniture and Bedding is a family owned business based in Co. Meath that has gone from strength to strength based on a first class reputation for more than 50 years.
Ray and Anne Crinion opened a furniture shop in Trim in 1969 before starting manufacturing. For years, they made the sofas and chairs that went into Irish homes. Sons, Tommy and Anthony carried on making furniture until 1997 before moving into retail. Joanna joined Anthony and they branched out to open a small shop selling the best furniture they could find. Anthony had a woodworker’s eye for well-made timber but Joanna knew that the look and feel of the furniture was even more important.
As furniture styles changed over the years they developed the knack to help you find the perfect piece of furniture for your home.
They discovered that it was less about what they had in store and more about what you wanted in your rooms. They regularly attend trade shows in Ireland and abroad to keep up to date with the latest styles and make sure that their furniture is on trend.
While the range of furniture options has increased with bewildering speed, their approach is still personal. They listen to find out what works for you.
The Furniture showroom is now open Monday to Saturday (Closed Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays) in Trim Retail Park (beside Supermacs). Their range is spread out over two floors so it has a warm atmosphere for wandering through. They offer free delivery and assembly and disposal of all packaging. If you feel like coming in for a browse (for inspirational purposes), the kettle is always on.
